"Picarbutrazox is simply the best product I’ve ever used for Pythium Root Rot. The new mode of action and longevity of picarbutrazox make it an absolute game changer. Picarbutrazox will always be a staple in my fungicide program.”
James Carroll Director of Agronomy Shoal Creek Country Club
"I think that Serata fungicide is going to be a game changer for the golf course superintendent because it brings something that’s as effective – or in some cases more effective – based on what we’ve seen in our Pythium trials."
D. McCall, Ph.D. Virginia Tech University
"We applied Serata to greens that always had issues with Pythium Root Dysfunction and Pythium Root Rot. I was amazed at the results. To have new mode of action to combat Pythium diseases that works as well as Serata is much needed and very exciting.”
Lee McLemore CGCS Director of Golf Course Operations Birmingham Country Club
A NEW MODE OF ACTION. BELIEVE IT
Picarbutrazox is a new compound from a new class of chemistry, the tetrazolyloximes. It is theorized that picarbutrazox works by effecting the biosynthesis of phospholipids, which disrupts the normal function of the pathogen’s cellular membrane. Picarbutrazox has translaminar activity and no known cross resistance between it and other oomycete chemistries, making it an ideal tool for pythium control and resistance management.
