Product Overview

Tough on pests, yet gentle on turf. Talstar® Select insecticide is the number one trusted insecticide brand for safeguarding greens, fairways, roughs, ornamentals and clubhouse areas from insects. Providing long-lasting residual control of turf pests including billbugs, chinch bugs, armyworms, cutworms and webworms, Talstar Select can also be used to eliminate fire ant colonies, preventing future colonies from being established. When applied in temperate zone regions where forsythia is in full bloom, Talstar Select even controls over-wintered hyperodes weevil adults for three to four weeks.

Containing no strong-scented or plant-damaging solvents, Talstar Select does not harm sensitive grasses during application, leaves no residue and causes no phytotoxicity. Once it dries, it's virtually impossible to tell where it was sprayed. Compatible with other products, Talstar Select also works effectively for flexible-tank mixing.

Note: Talstar Select is a Restricted Use Product (RUP).
