WHAT IS DISMISS ® NXT HERBICIDE?

Dismiss ® NXT is the industry’s premier Yellow Nutsedge and Green Kyllinga control product. It is a next generation tuber reduction combination product. Dismiss ® NXT combines two active ingredients to provide visual symptoms within 24 hours and long-term control in both cool and warm-season turf. This formulation is absorbed by the roots and foliage and works to control Yellow Nutsedge tubers, reducing future populations.

HOW DOES DISMISS ® NXT HERBICIDE WORK?

Dismiss ® NXT is a selective post-emergent herbicide which controls Yellow Nutsedge, Green Kyllinga, and certain broadleaf weeds by contact and residual activity. This formulation contains the active ingredients carfentrazone-ethyl and sulfentrazone which work to inhibit PPO and are absorbed by shoots, foliage and roots for superior control. In a 2 year study*, Dismiss ® NXT herbicide provided a 90% tuber population reduction vs. the control and 77% better than Dismiss ® herbicide. Thereby, reducing tuber populations today means better turf tomorrow

GENERAL USE NOTES APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

Dismiss ® NXT is a selective post-emergent herbicide which controls Yellow Nutsedge, Green Kyllinga, and certain broadleaf weeds by contact and residual activity. Dismiss ® NXT herbicide has been found to be compatible with most herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and growth regulators commonly used in turf and ornamental plant management. Consult label for complete tank mixture recommendations.

Application Guidlines

Post-emergent application is improved when adequate soil moisture is present at application. • Backpack sprayers are appropriate for small areas and spot treatments. Wands fitted with a flat fan nozzle tip should be held stationary at the proper height during application and applied evenly to the weed-infested area. Overlapping or using a swinging motion can result in uneven coverage or over-application.
This product may be used on seeded, sodded, or sprigged turfgrasses that are well established. First application of Dismiss ® NXT herbicide to newly seeded, sodded or sprigged turfgrass can be made following second mowing providing the grass has developed into a uniform stand with a good root system.
Recommended that Dismiss ® NXT be applied using a spray volume of 1 - 1.5 gal/1,000 sq. ft
